What do you do when you’re a mini-major and the second film in your hot Twilight Saga franchise is opening next month? Well, if you’re Summit Entertainment, you send the New Moon cast on a 15-city nationwide tour from November 6th through 19th. All the resulting media coverage of huge crowds and fainting tween/teen girls is intended to help sell movie tickets and soundtrack CDs to the sequel opening November 20th. The tour will kick off in Los Angeles at the Hollywood &amp; Highland Center on November 6th with a concert by several bands featured on New Moon soundtrack: Death Cab for Cutie, Anya Marina, Sea Wolf, and Band of Skulls. Fans can also attend a Question &amp; Answer forum with many of the movie’s cast members. At each of the 15 city stops along the tour, there’ll be other activities and prize giveaways related to the film as well as the cast Q&amp;As. <!–more–>Select cities will feature the soundtrack band performances. Fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31st will be granted access to a special event with select New Moon cast members at their respective malls. They will be given access to return and meet select cast members at that same mall on the assigned scheduled date and time. Ever since their careers exploded around last year at this time, it’s rare to see “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart doing anything other than slaving away on the sets of “New Moon” and the next sequel, “Eclipse.” Now, Timbaland wants to give the sexy duo a chance to let their hair down on his next music video — and if anybody can make it happen, it’s the Grammy-winning producer and rapper. Timbaland has spoken to us before about how Shock Value 2 was influenced by the world of Stephenie Meyer, and that “Morning After Dark” seizes on some of the darker themes in her world. Now he says he’s on the verge of getting Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and possibly other “Twilight” stars to appear in the video.

PRIMARY school students have been banned from reading the teen cult classic Twilight books because they are too racy and contradict religious beliefs.

Librarians have stripped the books from shelves in some junior schools because they believe the content is too sexual and goes against religious beliefs.

Throughout the weekend, Twilighters from all over are gathering in Parsippany, New Jersey, where the first of what is sure to be many Summit/Creation Entertainment co-sponsored fan conventions is happening. Among the gathered celeb attendees is “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke, who is currently juggling a quartet of follow-up projects: “Hamlet,” starring Emile Hirsch, “The Girl With the Red Riding Hood,” for Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way shingle, “If I Stay,” and “Maximum Ride.”

Hardwicke’s shifted focus away from Stephenie Meyer’s teen vampires didn’t stop her from sharing some behind-the-scenes facts yesterday during a Q&A. Fans probably weren’t surprised that the director had to get creative in stretching “Twilight”’s budget to do what she wanted. Twilight fans will be disappointed to learn that there will NOT be a fifth movie in the Twilight series. Yet. Sources tell RadarOnline.com that “It is absolutely not true,” that the fourth book Breaking Dawn will be split into two movies, denying fans another chance to see their beloved Edward on the big screen.

The newest addition to the Twilight family, Boo Boo Stewart, told Access Hollywood that he was signed on for three more movies (if you’re counting that means Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and an unnamed third) but our source insists that this is not the case…AT THIS POINT!
