Forget getting a boring old autograph, to celebrate the release of Best-Film-Ever, Twilight, starring the Hottest-Boy-Ever, Robert Pattinson, you can get your copy bitten! Mad but true – this Monday 6th April in HMV’s Oxford Circus (150, Oxford Street) flagship store, a steel version of Mr P’s teeth will be ‘biting’ into the sleeves of Twilight. It’s almost as good as being bitten by the real thing. Almost. And until that happens, we’ll console ourselves by watching the DVD many, many times a day.

Some indie movies are really benefiting from Kristen Stewart’s newfound fame. Since she appeared as Bella in Twilight, a film she shot two years ago, The Cake Eaters got a theatrical and DVD release. Now Adventureland comes on the cusp of two Twilight sequels, with a Runaways biopic, in which Stewart will play Joan Jett, slated to shoot in between.

In Adventureland, Stewart plays Em, a Jersey girl working at a theme park in the ’80s. She’s having an affair with the married maintenance man Mike Connell (Ryan Reynolds), but grad school hopeful James (Jesse Eisenberg) might be more of a true match for her. Written by Superbad director Greg Mottola, the comedy is more understated, though there is some toilet humor. • Read full story…

Robert Pattinson has his fair share of overzealous fans – and producers of “New Moon” have hired some of Canada’s finest to protect the young star while he films near Vancouver — Canadian Mounties!

RadarOnline spoke with Constables Brendon Baillant, whose job was to make sure no one got too close to the actor while filming on Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

“It was an unusual mission but our remit was to keep the fans off the set,” Constable Baillant said. “Everything went well on the first day but then a group of teenage girls got a little too close when the filming moved to the Long Beach area of the island. “They were totally miffed with us when we told them that they could not get any closer, however, their spirits lifted when Kristin Stewart came over to pose for a few photographs with them,” he recalled. • Read full story…

Kristen Stewart seems like a normal teenager. Well, if you take away the legions of crazed Twilightfans freaking out over her and her costars, that is. She seems normal most likely because at 18, she still is a teenager, unlike others playings teens in movies.

“I’m really proud ofTwilight,” she tells USA Today. “I think it’s a good movie. It was hard to do, and I think it turned out pretty good. But I don’t take much credit for it. So when you show up at these places, and there’s literally like a thousand girls and they’re all screaming your name, you’re like, why? You don’t feel like you deserve it.”

The kind of girls screaming her name show up during her interview, and Kristen accordingly shuts up so as not to attract attention to herself. • Read full story…
