First off, I'm an anti-Twilighter. Just to set things straight.

I'm happy to see that the majority of the Twi-fans are against this idiotic "tribute." Lady Sybilla, as she calls herself, needs to read up on copyright laws. Heck, a simple search on the 'net would give her a simple version she could understand.

I thought Twilight was like bad fanfiction, but yowch! Guess this is the real deal.

If she hasn't already ceased "publishing" (her AV Paranormal publisher is run by a group called... surprise! Lady Sybilla!) her book, then I hope Meyer sues her pants off. Even if they are flat, 2-D characters, they are still protected under copyright law.

Oh, heck. We know Meyer would sue. Everyone already knows she freaks out over every little thing. *coughMidnightSunleakcough*

Sorry, ain't gonna happen. There will be no book legally for sale.

AV Paranormal is owned by Lady Sybilla.

No real publisher would touch her "sequel" because of serious legal issues. She doesn't own the characters and it is copyright infringement if she uses them.

If she takes money for this book, then she can be charged with fraud, as she will not be allowed to deliver it. Meyer's publisher and the film company lawyers will absolutely sue her into the next solar system.

I hope no fans of the series will be so unwise as to send money to this person. They will never see a copy of the book.

One of the prime rules of fanfic writing is stay off the copyright holder's radar.

Lady Sybilla was apparently unable to grasp the basics.

She had only to read the Wikipedia article on copyright law to know what she's trying to do is illegal.

Maybe she did, and just didn't like that pesky law.

Too bad. Now it's gonna bite her right in the ___.
