Robert Pattinson has admitted that he copies other actors.
Rob told the Mirror: “Every actor I like is American – I mean, I always say I’ve stolen things from James Dean’s voice, the way he slurs his words, just for chatting up girls and stuff.”
James Dean was an Oscar nominated actor in the fifties. He died in a car crash when he was only twenty four.
Rob added: “My favourite actor is Jack Nicholson. I watched One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest when I was about 13, and I used to try and be him in virtually everything I did.“I dressed like him. I tried to do his accent. I think it kind of stuck with me.”
We think it’s fantastic that Rob was cast as Edward despite being a British actor.
No one could have played the part as well as him.
